As a Cinema Service Specialist, you will join a leading Cinema Integration Company, serving as the frontline technical expert for their theatre clients across Ontario. You won't just be fixing gear; you will be installing and servicing the cutting-edge technology that brings stories to lifefrom massive projection systems and immersive audio arrays to advanced theatre automation and screens.

About the Role
The Cinema Service Specialist is responsible for providing clients with technical support and services, including, but not limited to, the installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and emergency servicing of cinema equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Lead and support the installation of premium cinema equipment, including digital laser projectors, complex audio systems (surround sound/Dolby Atmos), automation, and media servers.
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair component-level failures in existing cinema AV systems, ensuring minimal downtime for theatre operators.
- On-Site Client Support: Serve as the trusted face of the company, providing exceptional technical support, system training, and preventative maintenance for theatre equipment.
- Provide on-call support via email, phone, and emergency on-site service visits.
- Field Logistics: Travel to various cinema locations across Ontario to execute service calls and major integration projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a service technician, ideally in Cinema, Pro AV, live events, broadcast, or commercial integration (installing and servicing lighting, video, and/or audio equipment).
- A genuine passion for the cinema or entertainment industry and a strong desire to master specialized, high-end cinema technologies.
- Deep understanding of AV signal flow, basic networking protocols, and structural mounting safety for heavy equipment.
- Availability to work non-traditional, flexible hours to accommodate the operating schedules of movie theatres.
- A valid Ontario Drivers License and access to a vehicle daily.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion and to climb ladders
- The willingness and ability to travel extensively within the province of Ontario, and in future, on a global scale.
