Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding account opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with leadership to execute sales strategies and achieve territory growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Ensure accurate order processing and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and performance updates.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
- Continuously monitor market conditions and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related customer-facing role.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in hardware sales, particularly involving doors, windows, and garage door openers, is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in B2B, B2C, distribution, retail, manufacturing, or channel sales environments is highly preferred.
- Experience selling hardware products
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
