Job Description

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Millwright to support maintenance and production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot and provide immediate corrective support for mechanical issues
• Install, overhaul, and commission new machinery and equipment
• Rebuild, fabricate, and replace machine components as required
• Conduct facility maintenance to ensure operational continuity
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent experience
• Red Seal certification is a strong advantage
• Solid experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Background in industrial or manufacturing environments (wood/lumber experience is a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
