Job Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding organization looking to strengthen their IT operations. As they scale their mobile workforce and service capabilities, they require a Senior Systems Administrator with a deep specialization in the IFS Suite, specifically focusing on Workforce Management (WFM), Field Service Management (FSM) and Planning & Scheduling Operations (PSO) environments. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for scheduling optimization, dispatching logic, and mobile workforce operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the IFS Cloud and IFS FSM environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Configure and optimize IFS PSO (Planning & Scheduling Optimization) parameters to align with evolving business constraints and SLAs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Mobile Workforce experience, ensuring the mobile application is synced, updated, and functional for field technicians.
  • Design and implement complex User Permissions, Security Roles, and Access Control Groups within IFS.
  • Performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches for IFS applications to ensure peak performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and security protocols are met across all WFM modules.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom Workflows and Events to automate manual business processes.
  • Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues related to scheduling, dispatch, and integration errors.
  • Lead "continuous improvement" initiatives by identifying underutilized IFS features that can drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of experience as a Senior Systems Administrator
  • 5+ Years of experience working within the IFS Suite: WFM, FSM, PSO, IFS Cloud, etc.
  • Proficiency with the Dispatch Console, mobile app configuration, and Appointment Booking.
  • Data Management skills for analyzing, troubleshooting, and managing data related to resources, technicians, and tasks.
  • Knowledge of server management, network administration, and SQL, with experience in cloud technologies.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex system issues.
  • Ability to translate complex IFS technicalities into non-technical verbiage for stakeholders.
