Job Description
Our client is an established and growing distributor of mechanical equipment. They are seeking a Service Coordinator & Equipment Logistics to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Service coordinator (primarily) with the secondary role of focusing on equipment related orders & logistics
- Support with technician dispatching, paperwork, service work coordination, entry of quotations, etc.
- Entering sales team orders in the SAP system, issuing purchase orders to vendors, physically picking and arranging orders for pick up or shipment
- Work in the warehouse and the office with contractors, technicians, service team, logistics companies and customers
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- SAP experience is a significant asset (or with related ERP experience)
- Must be flexible, able to deal with pressure
- Solid computer, organization, time management and communication skills
- Must be comfortable to work in both the office and the warehouse including picking parts, moving skids, checking shipments, lifting, and other physical work, etc.
- Warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Some project coordination experience, clerical work on projects, dealing with contractors and/or technicians
- The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with trades people (ex. plumbing, construction, roofing, electrical, etc.)
- Excellent attitude and be able to get along very well with others
