Our client, a rapidly growing, category-defining industry leader is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its leadership team.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the core leadership team, you will be a strategic partner, providing financial guidance and oversight across the organization. You will be responsible for:

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO and shareholders to shape financial strategy and long-term planning. Develop KPIs, dashboards and forecasting tools to enhance decision making.
• Budgeting and Capital Planning: Work across the organization to update the operational and financial budget, presenting it both internally and to other stakeholders.
• Functional Execution: Lead a small team that performs core functions such as financial statement preparation, cashflow & treasury, contract administration, and ongoing tax reporting.
• External Relationships: Ownership of the relationship with lenders as well as tax advisors and auditor.
• Department Evolution: Lead continued evolution of the company’s financial systems, policies and procedures, and corporate structuring.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of internal resources, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

You have a deep understanding of financial operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in finance, with strong forward progression in your career
• Strong understanding of financial operations, financial modeling and strategic planning
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools - strong Excel skills are a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
