Are you a skilled accounting professional with experience in a public accounting firm?

Our client is seeking a qualified Staff Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of compilation engagement files and financial statements
• Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax returns
• Account reconciliations
• Preparation of HST, T4, and T5 returns

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Caseware, Excel, MS Office, Quickbooks, and personal and corporate tax software
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Strong understanding of basic to intermediate tax principles
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a public accounting firm preparing complete year-end files including corporation tax returns
• Ability to complete compilation engagements and corporate tax returns at a reasonably high level
• Able to prioritize and manage various requirements
• Post secondary education in accounting
