Job Description

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Licensed Industrial Millwright to support their growing production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing maintenance team in a stable and well-established environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are top priorities.

Shift: Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Handle equipment installations, repairs, and modifications, including part fabrication where needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments and trades to support efficient workflow and project execution.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with food safety, quality, and safety protocols.
  • Complete computer-based maintenance records and work orders.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager or leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Millwright with a Certificate of Qualification / Journeyperson ticket.
  • Dual-ticketing in Welding, HVAC, Plumbing, or Power Engineering is a strong asset
  • Comfortable working night shifts, including weekends
  • Experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Competency in completing computerized work orders and maintenance logs.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both team members and supervisors.
  • Willing to work at night.
