Job Description
Our client, an established and growing company, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively deliver field technical sales support to customers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Establish, develop and grow both new and existing customer relationships to maximize growth
- Sales and territory management to meet set targets
- Carry out action plans to identify and acquire new business
- Keep up to date with the latest industry, competitor and product trends
- Manage customer requirements and expectations for delivery
- Prepare quotations and conduct follow-ups to customers to advance the sale forward and to close deals
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- College Diploma
- Fluently bilingual (English and French)
- Must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of related experience in Canada
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Assets: previous experience with vacuum pumps and/or pumps, compressors, positive displacement blowers, and/or vacuum pumps and/or pumps; previous experience selling rotating equipment; technical background
- Positive attitude, outgoing personality, great listener, and a team player
- Proven sales, presentation, cold call, and relationship building abilities
- Flexibility and able to handle pressure effectively
- Solid organization, time management and a business mindset
- Solid computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Home office location with travel to customers (up to 75%)
