Job Description
Our client is a dynamic and growing organization that has recently implemented the Zuora platform as their enterprise billing system. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Zuora Billing Developer to join their team and lead the design, development, and optimization of our subscription billing infrastructure. You will play a key role in implementing scalable solutions using the Zuora platform and integrating with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain Zuora Billing solutions to support subscription lifecycle management.
• Design and implement Zuora APIs and workflows to integrate with CRM, ERP, and payment gateways.
• Configure product catalog, rate plans, usage models, and billing rules in Zuora.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing, invoicing, payments, and subscriptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales Ops, and Engineering to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, security, and audit requirements.
• Provide technical documentation and support for Zuora configurations and integrations.
• Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities with Finance and Revenue teams.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Zuora Billing development and subscription billing systems.
• Strong understanding of Zuora Object Model, REST APIs, workflows, and custom objects.
• Proficiency in SQL and data migration within Zuora.
• Familiarity with subscription models (B2B/B2C), usage-based pricing, and revenue recognition.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Zuora Certification (Administrator or Developer).
• Experience with Zuora Revenue or other billing platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, ADO).
• Prior experience in Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and CPQ implementations.
• Experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce or other CRMs.
• Experience with integration and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
