Our client, a distributor of mechanical equipment, is seeking a qualified Service Mechanic / Service Technician (Rotating Equipment) to join their growing team. This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE role. ‍

This is a hands-on role for a skilled technician who thrives in a workshop setting, but is equally comfortable on the road servicing customer equipment. Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and rebuild compressors, pumps, and blowers
• Perform both mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Deliver top-tier service and support to our customer base
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation
• Prioritize safety in every aspect of your work
• Collaborate with team members and report any equipment concerns

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and basic electrical/electronic
• A clean driving record and willingness to travel locally
• Comfortable working both in-shop and on customer site
• Flexible with scheduling and available for on-call service
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Safety-minded and organized
• Bonus: Millwright experience or Refrigeration Certification
