Our client is a leading manufacturer of commercial refrigeration products in North America. They are seeking a CO2 Refrigeration Engineering Specialist to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity. 

Duties & Responsibilities: ‍

• Design, engineer and develop CO2 products and systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards
• Utilize CO2 systems knowledge to overcome complex engineering challenges and deliver innovation. Oversight of prototype and testing processes and improve designs
• Oversee and manage engineering BOMs
• Partner with internal teams to help resolve manufacturing issues
• Support R&D initiatives
• Participate in lab work and testing
• Other duties as required

‍Requirements: ‍

• Mechanical Engineering Diploma/ Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration or related industries
• Solid knowledge of CO2 system manufacturing processes and materials, with over 2 years of specific expertise in CO2 systems.
• Knowledge and experience in 2D and 3D CAD
• Asset: CO2 application and/or design experience
• MS Office and solid ability with various software
• Very good communication abilities
