Job Description

We are seeking a Product Owner with a passion for delivering impactful, user-centered digital products. This is a key role within our agile delivery team, responsible for shaping and executing product strategy through close collaboration with cross-functional partners including business leads, CX/UX, and development teams.

As a Product Owner, you’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery and roadmap planning to backlog prioritization and sprint execution. Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Strategy

• Conduct current state analysis, user research, and define problem statements.

• Align product initiatives with strategic organizational priorities.

• Collaborate with CX/UX teams to transform insights into actionable requirements.

• Partner with the Senior Manager of Product to help shape product strategy and support business cases.

Planning & Prioritization

• Maintain a clear, prioritized product roadmap and backlog.

• Write user stories and acceptance criteria based on business needs and user research.

• Understand DevOps team capacity to influence sprint commitments and delivery timelines.

Delivery & Execution

• Lead backlog grooming and ensure sprint readiness.

• Act as a key liaison with the Scrum Master and development team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

• Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies and drive the realization of sprint goals.

• Work with stakeholders to validate features and measure product outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through regular communication and updates.

• Ensure alignment with product vision and organizational goals across all levels.

• Champion continuous improvement in team collaboration, processes, and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, including at least 2 years in an Agile environment

• Hands-on experience in backlog management, writing user stories, and sprint planning

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and agile team dynamics

• Proven ability to conduct and leverage user research in product development

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree an asset)

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)

• SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PMPO)

• Agile Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent
