Are you a curious, organized, and detail-driven individual who enjoys a mix of data work and collaborative coordination? We're hiring a Coordinator, Data Programs on behalf of a national organization that works across the infrastructure and energy space. In this role, you'll support technical working groups and help deliver high-quality reports based on performance data from member organizations across Canada.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both working with people and digging into spreadsheets, with exposure to technical stakeholders, national performance metrics, and committee coordination.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a contract position expected to run through Summer 2026, with the potential for extension.
Roles and Responsibilities
Committee & Program Support
- Manage and support 3 national-level technical committees, including scheduling, agenda-building, minute-taking, and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain committee documentation, distribution lists, and digital collaboration tools.
- Onboard and engage member participants (primarily engineers and technical experts).
- Help identify key trends, themes, and national issues from group discussions.
Data Collection & Reporting
- Support data collection, verification, and analysis for annual performance reporting.
- Use Excel (and ideally Power BI or SQL) to validate, clean, and interpret data from members.
- Investigate anomalies and extract insights from large datasets.
- Contribute to building meaningful, value-add reports for internal and external audiences.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, or member-based programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—able to engage and support technical stakeholders.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office (Word, Outlook).
- Comfortable working with datasets; curious about what data can reveal.
- Familiarity with basic SQL, Power BI, or data visualization tools is an asset (but not required).
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
Education
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus.
