Overview:
Our client, a globally recognized brand in the food and beverage retail space, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Analyst for a contract opportunity based in Toronto. This is an exciting chance to work on impactful supply chain initiatives within a high-performing team environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, process-oriented, and brings deep expertise in distribution, transportation, and cross-functional project management.

Position Summary:
As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll support large-scale logistics and operational projects with the goal of driving efficiencies, optimizing costs, and improving service levels across the supply chain. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while also helping shape long-term strategy through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply chain and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Optimize transportation and distribution networks for cost savings and enhanced delivery performance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and 3PL partners to manage logistics operations and troubleshoot issues.

  • Lead and support strategic projects aimed at boosting supply chain scalability and performance.

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track project and supply chain performance.

  • Perform root cause analyses and recommend solutions for operational challenges or disruptions.

  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, particularly in distribution and transportation.

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Power BI.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and TMS/WMS platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team setting.

Preferred Assets:

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Exposure to international logistics and customs regulations.

  • Advanced Excel capabilities including macros and complex data modeling.
