Job Description

Job Title: Temporary Receptionist

Location: Newmarket, ON

Duration: Two days - June 17 (half-day training) and June 18 (full-day reception work)

Our client, in the nonprofit sector, is seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Receptionist to cover a two-day assignment in Newmarket. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous manner.

  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.

  • Provide information to visitors and callers as needed.

  • Manage scheduling and appointments.

  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office, email, etc.).
