Job Description

Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team.  This role provides vital administrative and office support with responsibilities including budget assistance, procurement coordination, and general office operations. The incumbent will work closely with various internal teams across the organization to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of department activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, tracking, and ongoing monitoring of the administrative budget.

  • Coordinate the purchase of office supplies, materials, and services required by staff.

  • Provide a wide range of administrative and office support functions to ensure smooth departmental operations.

  • Serve as a liaison between the Department and internal stakeholders across various sections and levels.

  • Maintain records, prepare documentation, and support department communications.

  • Support special projects and handle other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of modern office administration practices, procedures, and equipment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to apply these tools effectively in daily tasks.

  • Basic math proficiency, strong keyboarding skills, and excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Familiarity with budgeting principles and financial tracking.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.


Additional Assets:

  • Working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint systems.
