Job Description
Our federal government client is seeking the services of Real Property Consultan to provide monitoring and advice to ensure that the construction project is progressing appropriately, according to the project plan and project management best practices related to a facility construction project.
Tasks (including but not limited to):
- Collecting, analyzing and synthesizing information that provides insight into best practices and lessons learned that would effectively support the governance of the project;
- Performing analysis of current business processes from information obtained to recommend the best option to address any concerns or gaps found in the analsys, including the potential risks and benefits;
- Providing input for the development of new processes as they are developed, including issue/change management; and
- Verbal and written feedback and advice to senior management, as required by management. The anticipated level of effort will be about five days of consultations per month requiring analysis and a verbal or written report.
- In the interest of proper knowledge transfer, the contractor will provide key supporting documents and analysis, or a summary of these where it makes more sense, in case the Agency wishes to do more work in this area or perform a future internal audit.
Experience required:
- 10 years experience as the lead resource presenting and briefing on business consulting services for the Canadian federal government on real property construction
- 4 + years experience as the lead resource conducting real property reviews with specific focus on the construction of laboratories
- Secret Clearance
