We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR/Payroll IT Lead to manage and support our Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, for a 6 month remote contract. This role requires a combination of strong technical proficiency, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills to ensure system stability, timely project delivery, and data integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for system development, integration, upgrades, and ongoing support across all HCM modules in alignment with organizational goals.
10+ years of IT experience supporting enterprise ERP systems, preferably Lawson HCM.
5+ years of experience leading IT teams, managing cross-functional collaborations, and delivering enterprise projects.
Strong development experience, including coding, testing, and deployment of ERP applications.
Deep technical understanding of HCM components and how they interact with payroll, benefits, time tracking, finance, and external entities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to track milestones and manage project risks.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences including technical staff and senior management.
Skilled in ad hoc reporting and data extraction using tools such as SQL, Crystal Reports, or Lawson-specific reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and a strong understanding of data privacy and security practices.
Experience with Infor/Lawson CloudSuite HCM.
Familiarity with payroll compliance regulations and reporting requirements.
Certifications in Project Management, HRIS, or ERP systems.
