We’re working with a fast-growing organization in the GTA that is looking for a System Administrator to join their team. In this critical role, you’ll ensure the reliability of IT infrastructure, support system upgrades, and help lead IT coordination efforts as the organization prepares for an upcoming office relocation and technology transition.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working across hardware, software, and systems while supporting users across departments and collaborating with both internal and external teams.
Serve as the primary onsite IT resource, acting as the liaison between business units, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
Oversee day-to-day support (Level 1–3) for applications, systems, and devices.
Manage and execute IT asset relocation (computers, servers, peripherals) during the upcoming office move.
Coordinate cabling, server room infrastructure, and vendor work during the relocation process.
Support system upgrades, configurations, and implementations.
Maintain and administer tools like Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Azure (training provided).
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate appropriately.
Support user onboarding, offboarding, and account access changes.
Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and inventory tracking.
3+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support roles.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and desktop support.
Hands-on experience supporting hardware, software, and networking basics.
Experience using ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar).
Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects with minimal supervision.
Experience with system implementations and IT relocation/migration projects.
Exposure to or training in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based systems.
Basic knowledge of firewalls, networking protocols, or security tools.
Experience supporting SAP or other enterprise applications.
Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement processes.
Project coordination or certification (PMP, ITIL) is a bonus.
