Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Informatica Developer to join our clients team and support complex data conversion and transformation initiatives. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, and working closely with project teams to support large-scale data migration projects, including SAP system conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.

• Perform unit, integration, and system testing on ETL components.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all ETL processes.

• Analyze and troubleshoot data integration and transformation issues.

• Optimize SQL queries and ETL performance.

• Support encryption and data security in all data handling activities.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.

• Use tools like Google Workspace (or similar) for documentation and design. 

• Adhere to change and incident management protocols in alignment with ITSM/ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an Informatica Developer focused on data conversion.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Unix, and Shell scripting.

• Hands-on experience with SAP migration or conversion projects, including transformation phases.

• Solid understanding of systems development lifecycles and having delivered at least one major project from start to finish.

• Deep expertise in data transformation methodologies and best practices.

• Familiarity with encryption, data security, and compliance standards.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies for specification and testing (asset).

• Good knowledge of change and incident management methodologies and tools (ITSM, ITIL)
