Job Description

Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support their organization on a contract basis. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilites:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Manage and maintain user accounts and access permissions through Azure Active Directory and SharePoint.

  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues, including VLAN configuration, routing, and switching.

  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring technical issues to identify long-term solutions and improve system performance.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement and support technology solutions.

  • Document support procedures, technical solutions, and user guides to support knowledge sharing and reduce ticket volume.

  • Assist with system upgrades, rollouts, and ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, Azure services, networking (VLAN, routing and switching), and other technical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or an equivalent combination and experience
  • Preference for candidates with CompTIA A+, MSCA, AZ-104 or equivalent
