Our client is hiring for an Office Manager (Contract) to provide essential administrative and HR support at a long-term care facility. This role involves a blend of day-to-day administrative duties with a focus on payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and employee data entry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while supporting both internal operations and resident/family interactions.
Location and work model: On-site in Vaughan
Pay rate: $28/hour
Schedule/hours: Full time Monday to Friday
Contract duration: Initial 4–6 weeks, with a possibility of extension
Provide general administrative support across multiple functions
Handle accounts receivable, billing, and accounts payable tasks
Process payroll for approximately 200 biweekly employees
Enter and maintain employee information and updates in payroll systems
Support benefit enrollments, changes, and related HR documentation
Assist with onboarding of new hires and employee data updates
Interact with residents and families, responding to general inquiries
Ensure accurate invoice processing and payroll entries
Collaborate with scheduling personnel to implement payroll changes
Support continuity of operations while the regular office manager is on leave
Strong familiarity with payroll processing and benefit administration
Experience in a healthcare or long-term care is a strong asset
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Must have completed or be willing to complete:
