Contract: 1-Year Term | Approximately 15 Hours/Week

Lead the strategic design, deployment, and integration of a comprehensive Oracle Asset Management process while providing expert-level advisory support on Oracle licensing and software entitlements.
Conduct a thorough assessment of the current Oracle footprint, evaluating both on-premise and cloud deployments, and identifying critical data points across client and server environments, with a focus on Oracle Java.
Negotiate and lead stakeholder consultations for new Oracle Java contracts, aligning agreements with business objectives and budget constraints, while training internal teams on negotiation best practices.
Develop and deliver comprehensive Oracle reports including contract roadmaps, licensing cost implications, asset management strategies, process improvement recommendations, and policy compliance measures based on assessment findings.
Provide structured knowledge transfer and training sessions to internal staff, ensuring sustainable internal expertise for ongoing Oracle asset management and contract negotiations.
At least six years of experience in Oracle software contracting and asset management within large federal government departments.
At least eight years of experience managing Oracle software entitlements, including conducting baseline assessments and audit defense for Oracle Java deployments.
Diploma/Degree or Certificate in a relevant field from a recognized Canadian Secondary School Institute.
