Job Description

Our client, a leading organization involved in a major infrastructure expansion project, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project/Legal Liaison to support its Capital Projects Group. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact urban transit development that will shape the region’s future.

Contract until October 2025 | Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite (Downtown)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret complex legal agreements, technical documents, and real estate records to ensure compliance with project objectives.
  • Prepare briefing notes and compile key data to support decision-making and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with acquisition and negotiation teams on land administration matters, including tracking, reviewing, and organizing property-related documentation.
  • Support the preparation of work plans and coordinate document submissions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft correspondence and manage mass communications through mail merges and other tools.
  • Oversee and track multiple contracts with varying timelines, ensuring timely follow-ups and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and current records in internal systems, ensuring information reflects the latest project developments.
  • Liaise cross-functionally with Legal, Real Estate, and Communications teams to support workflow and information sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of legal/project management experience.
  • Experience working in a public sector organization, ideally with experience working in a transit infrastructure or capital project.
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes and contract management.
  • Proficiency with GIS systems and related applications is considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
