Job Description
Our client is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team! This is a 12 month contract, has a strong possibility of becoming permanent, and is hybrid in downtown Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable transactions and verify invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Input and reconcile data in Oracle Accounts Payable and Coupa.
- Maintain organized financial records and vendor accounts.
- Support financial analysis, journal entries, and reporting.
- Assist in system testing and maintain procedural documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage vendor relationships.
- Prepare and review reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in the banking/financial industry, particularly foreign bank operations.
- Experience with Oracle general ledger is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
