Job Description
Our not-for-profit client is currently hiring a Fundraising Officer to support their upcoming event on March 6, 2025. This is a temporary one-day contract with a focus on providing support during a busy fundraising event. The ideal candidate will assist with donor engagement, call center operations, and event-related activities, ensuring the event runs smoothly and effectively.
Location: Downtown Toronto (FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE!!)
Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer calls, take donations, and assist with any event-related queries.
- Complete donation forms, ensuring all necessary details are recorded accurately.
- Follow the Q&A script and provide a seamless experience for donors.
- Speak and write in Cantonese (fluent) and English.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluency in Cantonese (speaking and writing) is required.
- Prior customer service, call center, or fundraising experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse personalities and provide excellent donor service.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods at the secondary location (tentative).
- Must pass a background check and sign necessary waivers and privacy consent forms.
Training: Full training will be provided on the event day.
