Job Opportunity: Technology Architects

Duration: 1 year, with 3 optional extension periods
Location: Hybrid (remote or onsite in Ottawa, ON)
Security Clearance: Secret

About the Role:
Altis Technology is seeking Technology Architects for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government Clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technology roadmaps and architectures 
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Design and implement integrations for Financial Management Systems (e.g., SAP).
• Manage data migration from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Produce security assessment artifacts and design advanced security models.
• Provide expertise on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and cloud-based solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Technology Architect
• At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
• Proven experience in:
  • Legacy system migration to Microsoft Dynamics (minimum 2 projects).
  • Developing architectures for grants and contributions management systems (minimum 2 projects).
  • Designing complex security models in Dynamics 365.

Assets:
Additional points for experience beyond the minimum in areas like:

• Migration projects.
• Developing architectures for government clients (federal, provincial, or municipal).
• Integrating grants management systems with financial management platforms.

Technical Environment:
Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, SAP, and more. Expertise in tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and SQL is essential.
