Job Description
We are seeking an Application Support & Training Analyst to manage the analysis, configuration, validation, issue resolution, and training of our client's global HCM software platform, Dayforce. The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships across all levels while providing superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support (80%)
- Assist internal teams with configuration enhancements or issue resolution related to:
- Scheduling, timekeeping, and punch policies
- Time-off entitlements and payroll earnings/deductions
- Site and departmental configuration updates
- Compliance with legislative, regulatory, and union rule changes
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, technical support teams, end-users, and third-party vendors to maintain system performance.
- Proactively address business needs and ensure application usability.
- Track and assess change requests for system configuration updates.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training resources, best practices, and workshops for end-users and administrators.
- Create and manage a calendar to address critical recurring tasks, such as tax updates, year-end procedures, and compliance reporting.
- Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Projects (20%)
- Support the planning, testing, and implementation of system upgrades and new integrations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy additional system interfaces or integrations.
- Provide support for system implementations during mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring Dayforce or similar HCM systems.
- Background in payroll processing is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage complex business challenges within technical solutions.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks with minimal direction.
- Proficient in MS Excel, including data integration and analysis (experience with XML is an asset).
- Experience using MS Teams and SharePoint for collaboration.
- Exceptional time management and project management skills.
- Proven ability to simplify technical documentation for non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing and delivering training materials such as guides, webinars, and workshops.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
