Job Description

Altis Recruitment is seeking a Bilingual Study Coordinator (Nurse) to join our clinic in the health care sector, on a permanent basis. The successful incumbent will be responsible for implementing and executing procedures in research protocols. This role includes supporting the development, organization, management, and follow-up of research programs, as well as providing administrative services.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Master the latest versions of documents related to the research programs.
  • Participate in the creation and verification of the file source template for each research program.
  • Prepare and complete the subject’s source files for study visits and ensure follow-up and final approval with the PI/Sub-I.
  • Ensure the planning and smooth execution of visits related to research programs.
  • Write study visit summary notes and obtain approval from the PI/Sub-I.
  • Dispense study medication and ensure subject compliance.
  • Master all aspects of the study subject source file documentation as per protocol.
  • Manage the remittance and follow-up of reimbursements for study subjects and their study partners.
  • Create, maintain, and follow-up on various study logs (e.g., study statistics, reimbursements).
  • Respond to queries and follow-ups from study monitors.
  • Complete various medical forms (e.g., laboratory, MRI, PET).
  • Update electronic patient records.
  • Collaborate with various study partners (e.g., monitors, pharmacists, suppliers).
  • Maintain up-to-date training specific to the various research programs and general training.
  • Develop tools and work methods (e.g., tables, documents, statistics).
  • Perform work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Two years of experience in acute care, including intravenous placement and management of discomfort and allergies.
  • Good standing member of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Two years of experience in acute care, including intravenous placement and management of discomfort and allergies.
  • Bilingual (EN/FR) in oral and written. 

Education

  • A Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
