Job Description

Our construction client is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their growing team. Reporting to the HR Director, the HRBP provides strategic HR guidance, develops and manages HR programs, and supports day-to-day HR operations for large projects. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

This is a hybrid position, located in Etobicoke, ON. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project mobilization/demobilization plans, employee rotation, and succession planning using analytics.
  • Address workforce concerns, resolve conflicts, conduct investigations, and coach managers on performance management.
  • Conduct compensation reviews and support salary recommendations.
  • Guide employees through disability programs and coordinate return-to-work plans.
  • Facilitate performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning.
  • Roll out corporate programs, mentor HR staff, and support training and development needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, complete audits, and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience; CHRL designation preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in HR or Business Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, processes, and laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Skilled in handling confidential information and building stakeholder relationships.
