Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to our customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP technologies, including SAP R/3, S4/HANA, workflow, and ABAP programming. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, offer solutions, and contribute to improving our knowledge base while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also engage in testing and validation of product-related concerns across various environments, making this a dynamic and impactful position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues via phone and written correspondence, adhering to established response times.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of customer interactions in the company database.
  • Provide alternative solutions for issues not directly related to OpenText products.
  • Conduct thorough testing in different environments to validate and address product-related concerns.
  • Develop and contribute technical documentation to the Knowledge Center Knowledge Base.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 2-5 years in a technical support environment, preferably within SAP solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expertise in SAP R/3 and S4/HANA.
    • Strong skills in SAP workflow, ABAP programming, and ALV Report Development.
    • Working knowledge of SAP FI/MM modules (technical) and related business processes.
    • Experience with SAP Fiori and Web services is an asset.
    • Strong skills in dialog programming, including creating custom screens and transactions.
  • Customer Support: Proven ability to provide exceptional support within a technical setting.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Availability for on-call support as needed.
  • Experience with the VIM product is a strong advantage.
