Job Description
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking two Legal Assistants to provide administrative support to lawyers in two of their practice areas. They are looking for motivated Legal Assistants with demonstrated experience providing exceptional practice management and client service, the ability to successfully handle competing priorities, and a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
The client offers a flexible work arrangement. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to commute to Vancouver, BC and surrounding cities.
Qualifications:
- Legal Assistant or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited post secondary institution
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (large firm experience preferred) in Wills & Estates, Corporate and/or Commercial Law (secured lending & real estate)
- Strong M365 and Adobe skills
- Experience with 3E, InTapp, iManage, DocuSign is preferred
- Experience with BC Online, BC Registries, MyLTSA, ALF is also considered an asset
Must haves:
- Ability to manage the practices of multiple lawyers
- In-depth understanding of business and legal terminology
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and also be a flexible team player
- Highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail
