Job Description
Our client, in the Non-Profit space, is seeking a diligent and proactive Administration Support Assistant with a strong background in customer service to join their team. This role primarily involves email communication, supporting the administration team, and providing temporary reception coverage. After the initial six-month period, there is potential to transition into a permanent hybrid position.
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)
Start Date: Immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle approximately 400 emails daily, triaging and responding promptly and accurately.
- Cover the reception desk for one month, managing light phone calls, a high volume of emails, and mail.
- Assist the team with general administrative tasks after reception coverage.
- Maintain a well-organized mailroom, ensure kitchen cleanliness, file documents accurately, and manage office supplies.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance and Administration, supporting a diverse team of approximately 15 employees.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service roles, ideally in an email environment.
- Fluent in English and French is preffered.
- Competency with MS Office, CRMs, and email support systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in administration, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, professional, and concise emails.
Additional Information:
- Hours: 35-hour work week (standard hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Vaccination Policy: Must have at least 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
- Commute: No parking provided, but transit-accessible location with parking nearby.
