Job Description
Our client is seeking to hire a dedicated and customer-focused BILINGUAL (FRENCH) IT Support Representative to join their team on-site in Toronto, conveniently located near St. Clair Station. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems for our organization.
Start Date: February 10, 2025
End Date: June 27, 2025 (with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs).
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility on hours)
Location: On-site near St. Clair Station, Toronto
Languages: Must be fluent in French and English
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support to users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level support as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies.
- Provide guidance to end-users on best practices and preventive measures to maintain system security and performance.
- Document technical issues and solutions in the company’s ticketing system to ensure effective follow-up and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure all IT equipment and systems adhere to organizational standards and policies.
Qualifications
- MUST BE BILINGUAL IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and system configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
