Job Description
Our client, a real estate development firm, is seeking a General Manager to join their team at one of their premier luxury rental properties in Toronto. Reporting directly to the Director of Residential, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, resident relations, and operational management. This role is focused on providing exceptional service throughout the resident experience, maintaining the highest standards for the building, and driving financial performance.
This is an on-site position, located in Mid-town Toronto.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and coaching a team of property staff (concierge, leasing, maintenance, etc.).
- Managing leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies to meet KPIs.
- Overseeing property operations, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.
- Developing localized strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring quality standards.
- Handling escalated resident issues and fostering community relationships.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in property management, real estate, or hospitality.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or real estate is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Yardi) is an asset.
