Job Description
Our leading professional services client is looking for two Solutions Architects to join their team on a 1 year term. This will be a fully remote position.
Reporting to the Director of Solutions Architecture within a Products & Technology organization, the Senior Solution Architect will play a key role in developing innovative business models and designing technology solutions tailored for the digital market. The focus is on creating data-driven platforms and intellectual property-based solutions leveraging emerging technologies. By designing and implementing these solutions, the role fosters innovation, strengthens market relevance, and generates new revenue streams. The Senior Solution Architect will work closely with clients to address their complex business challenges, delivering results from strategy to execution.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee technology projects executed by development teams.
- Provide technical guidance on tools, frameworks, and platforms.
- Design applications or services to meet organizational and client needs.
- Gather and clarify existing business requirements.
- Support the implementation and management of Enterprise Architecture processes.
- Develop and deliver digital products that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Assist Enterprise Architects in evaluating technology solutions.
- Participate in business development activities, identifying and researching new opportunities.
- Supervise and support vendor developers during project execution.
- Conduct regular code reviews and enhance internal development practices.
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
- Build and strengthen internal team relationships.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Azure/Google Cloud Platform/AWS Solutions Architect or Developer; Microsoft Development certifications.
Technical Skills
- Must-Have Expertise: Azure Cloud, Azure Services, and .NET.
- Experience in designing, building, and supporting cloud-first enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with two of the three major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and AI services.
- Proficiency in service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
- Database experience (e.g., MS SQL, MongoDB) and understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong DevOps skills, including CI/CD, automation, and virtualization.
- Experience with platforms and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Understanding of generative AI technologies (e.g., LLM models, vector databases, orchestration frameworks).
- Background in UX principles, user stories, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabrics, Azure Databricks, Power Platform, and BizTalk
