Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Administrative and Accounting Coordinator to join their team. This role focuses on providing assistance with transaction and customer records management, delivering high-quality administrative and financial record-keeping and reporting services, and ensuring that internal administrative and accounting processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Duration: 6-month contract with the option to renew for two additional 6-month terms
- Location: Remote (Canada)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison with one or more payment processors.
- Manage financial transaction records, including invoice and transaction processing, daily reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.
- Oversee the shared mailbox, handling internal and external customer requests and outgoing communications related to billing.
- Receive and direct all incoming mail.
- Respond to internal inquiries about customer records and provide guidance based on the policy manual.
- Ensure all documents on SharePoint are updated, filed, and retained according to established processes.
- Process daily and monthly financial transactions and generate reporting.
- Maintain and adhere to established administrative and accounting processes and documentation.
- Effectively manage customer records systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Bookings, and Forms, is valuable.
- Certificate in Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluency in English is required.
