Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The role involves consolidating and analyzing opportunities, documenting the current state (e.g., processes and operating model), gathering requirements, designing the future state (e.g., requirements, processes, and operating model), and collaborating with various teams to implement the future state operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Responsibilities:
- Understand vision and strategy and conduct data analysis and modeling to identify, analyze, and scope potential ideas and opportunities (e.g., changes to the future state to achieve desired outcomes) with business operations.
- Prepare for and facilitate workshops to document the current state (processes and operating model), requirements, and future state (processes and operating model) to ensure target outcomes are achieved.
- Collaborate with the technology team to translate business requirements into technology requirements to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
- Work with operations and change management teams to complete change impact assessments, design implementation tactics, and support the implementation of the future state operating model.
- Partner with the benefits measurement and reporting team to create metrics, KPIs, and reports to monitor and measure benefits following the implementation of the future state design.
- Sample Deliverables:
- Idea development, analysis, and scoping.
- Journey maps, requirements documentation, and current and future state process maps.
- Current and future state operating models.
- Level of effort estimates, plans, and progress updates.
- User stories, epics, input into metrics, KPIs, and report designs.
- Contributions to change impact assessments, communications, and training materials.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build effective relationships.
- Experience working in a public sector unionized environment.
- Experience contributing to business transformation programs or projects.
- Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of the claims process end-to-end
