Job Description

Position Title: Residential Property Manager
Reports To: Property Managers
Location: Westboro
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Our client is seeking to hire an experienced and motivated Residential Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential properties. The ideal candidate will ensure the properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and financial objectives are met. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of residential properties, including single-family homes, apartments, or condominiums.
  • Ensure properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained by coordinating regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Enforce lease agreements and community rules.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
  • Manage tenant onboarding, lease renewals, and move-out processes.
  • Foster a positive tenant experience to improve retention rates.
  • Advertise available units through online platforms, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Conduct property showings, screen potential tenants, and manage the application process.
  • Ensure units are leased promptly to minimize vacancies.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, including rent collection and expense tracking.
  • Ensure timely collection of rent, security deposits, and other fees.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to property owners.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
  • Handle tenant disputes, evictions, and legal issues professionally and lawfully.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for each property.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.
  • Previous experience using Yardi. 
  • Strong knowledge of property management practices, leasing regulations, and maintenance.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and meet financial targets.
