Job Description

We are seeking a forward-thinking and results-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to play a key role in shaping the future of our client's people strategy.

This is a 3-month contract opportunity requiring 4-5 days a week on site in North York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to management on a wide range of issues, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and performance management.
  • Lead the development and delivery of HR programs and initiatives, such as training and development, employee engagement, and succession planning.
  • Manage and advise on all aspects of employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and regulations.
  • Partner with leaders to identify and address HR challenges and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational change initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing a broad range of HR functions within a complex organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • CHRL designation or equivalent is preferred.
