Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their On-Demand SaaS Platform team. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that aligns with business objectives.

The position is part of a highly agile SCRUM team utilizing the latest technologies to build cloud-native SaaS solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional with a passion for learning new technologies and effective cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based applications using Azure services.
• Collaborate with R&D, DevOps, and Security teams to build a platform comprising containerized and serverless cloud-native SaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation and deployment.
• Be an active member of an agile SCRUM team, motivated to produce high-quality code that meets business requirements.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop leadership within the team by taking on design activities for components and driving their success.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Azure cloud development and management.
• Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Networking (VNETs).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Bicep, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Terraform.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of security practices in the cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience working with multiple agile development teams across time zones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
