Job Description
Position: Senior SAP Basis Administrator
Duration: 1 year + 2 renewal options of 6 months each
Location: Hybrid preferred (1-2 days onsite, or as needed) in Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa
Background: Seeking a Senior SAP Basis Administrator responsible for installation, migration, Unicode conversion, upgrade, configuration, monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SAP technical environments. This role involves documentation of processes, participation in system migrations and upgrades, and proposing resolutions in line with SAP best practices.
Tasks:
- Installation, migration, and maintenance of SAP components including ECC 6.0, SRM, Portal, BW, and GRC.
- Coordinating system management and maintenance, ensuring system integrity and performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical changes and solutions.
Requirements:
- 10 years of SAP Basis Administrator experience.
- Hands-on experience with installation, migration, and Unicode conversion projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Expertise in SAP systems administration and analysis, Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practices and Standards.
- Experience in documentation, analysis, and design within medium to large enterprises.
- Familiarity with change and incident management methodologies (ITSM, ITIL).
- Excellent communication skills in English; French proficiency is an asset.
