Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Human Resource Advisors with proven HR advisory skills in supporting multiple client groups for our government client.
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will:
- Provide expertise and advice on a range of HR program services relating to recruitment and selection, compensation, benefits, pension administration, attendance management, employee relations and counseling.
- Provide consultative advice, expertise, and guidance on the interpretation of human resources management policies, procedures, programs, and the application of related government legislation and regulations.
- Consult with client business units/management on client business needs related to HR management functions.
- Participate on project teams/task groups to support and communicate new/amended corporate human resource initiatives, programs and strategies.
Qualifications: - Must have a minimum of 3 years of full-function HR generalist experience.
- Working towards or completion of the CHRL designation a strong asset
- Highly developed consultation, negotiation, partnership building, influencing and customer service skills.
- Issue analysis andproblem-solvingskills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong customer service skills and relationship management skills; must be ateam player.
- Time management, organizational, planningand projectmanagementskills.
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the application of human resources theories, methods, principles,practices,and techniques pertaining to the humanresources management functions of recruitment, compensation,and benefits,learning and development, performance management, health and safety,employee relations programs and services.
