Our client in the Information Management Services industry is seeking Document Prep Specialists to perform document prep and scanning tasks in their warehouse. This client works with documents and storage and comes from a team of flexible managers, it truly is a wonderful place to start a career.
**SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RELIABILITY CLEARANCE WHICH REQUIRES LIVING IN CANADA FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS**
- Located in Coquitlam, BC (Golden Drive)
- Start date: January 10, 2025
- Monday to Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm
- Pay Rate: $18.25/hour
- 5 month contract and potential to become permanent.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Safety Boots are Required
- Working in a warehouse environment lifting and moving boxes to and from the doc prep area
- Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning and document preparation
- Scan hardcopy files to electronic images
- Assuring a quality image and perform quality control functions
- Perform document preparation tasks
- Indexing, Packaging and Release of product
- Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking
- Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining clean work environment
- Perform scanning task on complex conversions utilizing specialized equipment, high speed equipment and/or flatbed scanning
Qualifications and Experience
- Safety Boots are Required
- Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work
- Must possess strong problem solving ability, acceptable of change and long durations of project assignments
- Ability to work able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a data entry/imaging environment preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English
- Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and Management
- Strong understanding of imaging quality measurement techniques and process
- Understanding and ability to perform data entry with speed and accuracy, release and packaging functions
- Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to detect, document and correct quality issues
