Job Description

Our large client in the healthcare industry is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join their team. The role will play a key part in maintaining front-end administration and supporting service operations.

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 2 days on-site)
Contract: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emails and phone calls.
  • Open and close files in the internal tracking system.
  • Complete service relations intake processes with stakeholders.
  • Notify relevant leadership of concerns.
  • Assist in case management by providing responses to stakeholders.
  • Participate in staff training sessions as directed.
  • Assist with internal reporting.
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain compliance and promote quality improvement.
  • Respond to inquiries from public agencies.
  • Track feedback and report trends to leadership.
  • Support the implementation of new technology solutions to enhance service operations.
  • Participate in a cross-functional team for compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in one or more of the following:
    • Patient relations
    • Healthcare
    • Front-end office management
    • Customer experience
  • Conflict management training or Alternative Dispute Resolution certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in: Word processing software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
  • Quickly adapt to new software systems.
