Job Title: Deductions Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Deductions Analyst to join our client's team. In this role, you will take ownership of the deductions process, manage customer compliance trackers, ensure contracts are updated in SAP, and collaborate with various departments to drive efficiency. Your ability to analyze, reconcile, and streamline processes will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records and supporting cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Deductions Management
- Take ownership of the customer deductions process.
- Analyze and reconcile unreconciled deductions in the deductions report, which should be run weekly.
- Contractual deductions: Identify and allocate to respective contracts.
- Non-contractual deductions: Confirm validity with Marketing & Sales and allocate to appropriate accounts.
- Compliance deductions: Validate with Operations & Sales and take appropriate action based on validity.
- Ensure new deductions are identified and actioned immediately.
- Address old deductions by gathering supporting documentation and collaborating with Operations & Sales to determine validity.
- Develop and implement new processes (e.g., saving supporting documents on shared drives, summarizing deductions, and scheduling meetings).
- Work closely with the Accounts Receivable representative to address all deductions.

Customer Contracts Management
- Update and maintain customer contracts in SAP.
- Identify accrued dollars within contracts and track utilization.

Compliance and Reporting
- Populate and manage customer compliance trackers.
- Update balance sheet reconciliations for accrued agreements, which house customer deductions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and financial reporting tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, Marketing).
- Ability to develop and improve processes for efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
