We are working with a Crown Corporation seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a hybrid, 3 year contract. The PM will

Lead Cyber Security projects and initiatives in Identity and Access Management, coordinating multiple systems, processes, and stakeholders across IT portfolios.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and present project proposals, implementation plans, status reports and change and risk logs.
  • Prioritize and coordinate work to achieve project objectives, and ensuring the collaboration or other teams, as required.
  • Assist team with change requests and risk mitigation plans.
  • Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress.
  • Coordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect requirements related to project scope, business value, risk, and resources.
  • Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate proactively with other teams to coordinate interdependencies and optimize flow for delivery and operational teams.
  • Assist Bank employees with Agile and project management practices and methodologies.
  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning retrospective meetings and backlog management to provide guidance to the delivery team to identify and prioritize deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and value delivery to  management and/or the sponsor/client.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed including all related documentations and processes.
  • Other activities and deliverable, as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, or business administration
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the field of information security and IT
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist in overseeing medium-to-large implementation projects and project team for the definition and implementation of cyber security solutions in a complex environment.

Additional Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Certified Agile Leader
  • Kanban Management Professional (KMP)
  • Demonstrated experience within Cyber domain.
  • Demonstrated experience working with project teams of project management methodologies and approach.
