Job Description

Altis is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a client in the public infrastructure sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical technology and process improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
  • Process Mapping: Analyze current state processes and design optimized future states.
  • Testing and Validation: Define acceptance criteria, prepare test cases, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaboration: Partner with project managers, architects, cybersecurity leads, and other team members to drive project success.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates and progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong facilitation skills for gathering and validating requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in tools such as MS Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, and Project.
  • Experience in government or public sector environments is an asset.
  • CBAP certification is an asset.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
