Job Ad: Data Analytics Specialist

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week from any office)
Term: January 2025 – June 30, 2025

Altis Technology is looking for a Data Analytics Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our Public Sector Clients based in Saskatchewan. 

Required Experience:

• Expert knowledge in customer analytics, project management reporting, strategic reporting, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science, with at least four years of experience (or equivalent education and experience).
• Strong understanding of statistics, mathematics, and data configuration.
• Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, management tools, and mastery of one or more visualization tools.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in identifying, sourcing, linking, manipulating, and interpreting data to create actionable reports and insights.
• Knowledgeable in IT systems, data policies, and procedures.
• Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
• Strong business domain knowledge with advanced skills in data tools and visualization.
• Ability to analyze and develop insights on organizational processes and metrics.
• Effective communication of loan portfolio health to stakeholders.
• Leadership in developing and executing risk measurement processes

Duties:

• Understand business domains and drive insights from data to meet needs.
• Develop analytics solutions from diverse data structures and sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams for comprehensible and actionable analysis.
• Provide insights and recommendations to decision-makers.
